Please help MCHS reach our 2026 goal of $100,000

Volunteer

During the past year, MCHS held more than a dozen major events, festivals, and programs and published six newsletters, all with the purpose of educating the community about the fascinating history of Madison County. This is only possible thanks to a veritable army of fabulous volunteers.

In addition to events and programming, volunteers also maintain the grounds and campus buildings and compile bulk mailings. Some volunteer for an hour once a year and others for hundreds of hours annually.

We are extremely grateful for all our volunteers. If you haven’t yet volunteered, we invite you to join the fun!

Silent Auction Items

Silent auctions are hosted at several fundraising events throughout the year. If you would like to donate an item or basket for a silent auction to benefit MCHS, please contact us at info@madcohistory.org or 618-656-7569.
