A History of St. Boniface Catholic Church

Mary Westerhold, Research Director for the Madison County Archival Library, here tells the story of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville on the eve of the church’s Sesquicentennial. The church, which supports an elementary school, had adapted well to change. When a larger church was required, they found away to keep the old as a part of the new church, preserving traditions while moving toward the future. The story is written as a timeline of history for the church showing how things have changed, yet in faith stay the same.
