Buildings of a Bygone Era

The Madison County History Museum has a new exhibit!  “Buildings of a Bygone Era” features historic Madison County buildings, most of them long gone from the landscape. This case features a drawing of the old Madison County Sheriff’s residence and some items belonging to Sheriff David Jones who served from 1906-1910.

This residence/jail is one of the buildings that once stood where the MCT Station in Edwardsville is now located.

Exhibit hours are Wed-Fri Noon-4 and Sunday 1-4. The museum and library will be closed on Jan 1 for the holidays.
